Daniel: “Do you remember you reported for duty just a few days before I did?”

Andy: “My first task at that time was to recruit security guards.”

Daniel: “In those days, the campus was still under construction and the surrounding environment was very secluded.”

Andy: “Yes, I can remember that, and Cheng Sai-ming was the first guard to be employed in the security control division. He reported for duty in September that year.”

Andy, with his strong-build and healthy skin colour, was part of the vanguard stationed at our Tai Po Campus. To this day, whenever there is a large event on campus, you can see him, walkie-talkie in hand, quietly sending out commands and confidently controlling the situation to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Having worked in the same organisation for more than a decade, Andy’s ongoing motivation springs from the strong team spirit visible at every level of his division. Andy also agrees with Daniel’s management philosophy — Daniel is his supervisor who advocates close communication among colleagues as well as mutual respect and support at all times. They both feel that if everyone works with one heart and one mind, there is no problem that cannot be solved.
