“The sports stadium has been described as the teaching platform of dynamism. My role is only as a lecturer, and every student’s participation is equally important. From sports, students are able to learn the spirit of endurance and unyielding persistence.” With a passion for sports, Kevin made the transition from a Student Affairs Officer to Sports Teaching Fellow five years ago. Being able to shine in, and light up, the sports arena has given him tremendous satisfaction.

In recent years, the HKIEd female football team has achieved outstanding results in the higher education sector. As the team’s volunteer coach, Kevin is pleased that he has been able to grow with his students. The friendship and tacit understanding within the team have been established during the days of gruelling and rigorous training. In fact, many alumnae return to their alma mater even after graduation to practise their football skills with one another, playing in matches and enjoying a hearty chat with Kevin, their mentor and friend.
