FAQ: How to select the various SSIDs and wireless connection methods in EdUHK?

Staff and students are recommended to configure their notebook computer or PDA to access the wireless network using the EdUHK SSID which is more secure and device usually could reconnect the Wi-Fi automatically. Please avoid using Wi-Fi.HK via EdUHK as the data transmitted over the air is not encrypted and could be tapped by hackers. The pros and cons of different choices are tabulated as follows:
