While various SSIDs are available at EdUHK, staff and students are recommended to access the wireless network using EdUHK, Hostel or Quarters (marked with * below) for faster (5GHz) and encrypted connections. Users have to log in with their username and password once, and the device can usually reconnect with the same SSID automatically. Please avoid using Wi-Fi.HK via EdUHK, as data transmitted is not encrypted, bandwidth is limited, and users need to click to connect every time.
