When students login the “SKYPE for Business” App on mobile, they might see the follow error message.
It is a bit annoying but it will be gone after the call is established. It does not affect the functions of SKYPE. There are some workaround though to get rid of these messages once for all.
Workaround:
Please follow the following steps to get rid of the error message.
For iOS devices:
- After login Skype for Business on your mobile app
- Click "User Profile -> Settings -> Exchange"
- Turn off “Auto-Detect server” option.
- Go back to the main screen.
For Android devices:
- After login Skype for Business on your mobile app
- Click "User Profile -> Settings -> Exchange"
- Turn off “Use Skype for Business credentials” option.
- Enter email address in “User Name”.
- Enter password.
- Leave the email address field blank.
- Then click “OK”
- Go back to the main screen.
