Shanghai and Guangzhou occupy pivotal positions in China's economic development. Thirty students in our Bachelor of Education (Secondary) programme participated in student exchanges on business and modern management models for industry and commerce with these two cities, enhancing their understanding of business developments on the mainland.

Yet another group of students, studying under the Certificate in Early Childhood Education programme, travelled to faraway Xi‡n to observe the immersion English instruction taking place in the province's kindergartens. Teachers used nursery rhymes and told stories to gain the attention and interests of the infants. During the process, they also asked a lot of questions, stimulating their creative thinking processes and improving their language skills.
