Our heartfelt thanks go to every donor who supported our education fund-raising initiatives! It is your donation which allows us to move closer to our target.

From 1 January to 30 June 2004, we successfully solicited the support of over 1,000 donors, including our staff, alumni, charitable foundations and the commercial sector, accounting for a total amount of over HK$10 million. We are very proud of the achievement as the donation amount is an unparalleled record in the Institute's fund-raising history, from a very moderate start of HK$309,000 in 96/97, donations have grown 100 times and hit an unprecedented figure of over HK$31 million in 03/04.

As a young and small institution devoting solely to teacher education, we understand that we will not be able to fully utilise the University Grants Committee's "Matching Grant Scheme". Nevertheless the result does represent the concerted effort of our staff, alumni and many philanthropists. We share the vision to build a better Hong Kong - a place where our children can receive quality education.
