About the Programme

EdUHK provides a great opportunity for student-teachers from overseas partner institutions to gain classroom experience in another cultural setting through its International Teacher Training Programme (ITTP).
 

You can put theories and initiatives into practice at EdUHK Hong Kong Jockey Club Primary School or EdUHK Early Childhood Learning Centre, both EdUHK ’s affiliated schools on campus. In a training attachment that lasts from five weeks up to one semester, you become a teacher assistant at one of the two schools and can gain first-hand experience in the classrooms with the students. 

Like other exchange students, on-campus accommodation is guaranteed for student-teachers can enjoy. They are also welcome to take part in any excursions and activities organised by the GAO and get to know the rest of the University community.

Student-teachers who joined ITTP are counted towards the balance under the Student Exchange Agreement signed between the institution and EdUHK.
