Interested students are required to read through the programme details and submit the application online with the required documents by the deadline via the Global Engagement Management System (GEMS) (User Manual for steps and instructions).
Priority will be given to those who have NOT participated in GAO’s outbound learning activities before.
Late or incomplete applications will NOT be entertained.
If an applicant wilfully gives any false information or withhold any material information, he/she shall render himself/ herself liable to withdrawal of application and other disciplinary action by EdUHK.
Important Notes
Students can only participate in ONE VEP in every semester.
Interested students should seek prior approval (by email) from Programmes Office for joining VEP to be held during semester-time.
Participants are deemed to abide by General Academic Regulations (GAR) 7.3 on Study Load (i.e. the VEP credits will count towards the EdUHK study load) [The minimum and maximum number of credit points is normally within the range of 12 (except summer semester) to 18 for taught courses in a semester for full-time programmes]. The maximum credits that participant can take in VEP is 6 credits per semester (i.e. 12 ECTS). Credits gained from specific type of VEP are eligible for applying Credit Transfer (CT), where applicable (please refer to Registry’s website for details).
Result Announcement
If the number of applications exceeds the places available, lots will be drawn for random allocation by application priority and students’ order of preference.
All applicants will be informed of the application results via email (EdUHK email account). Each successful applicant will be required to confirm the acceptance of offer by returning a completed Declaration Form to GAO by the designated submission deadline.
