Application & Eligibility

Nomination

Applicants must be nominated by the home institution to be eligible for a place in the programme. First-year students are normally NOT eligible.
 

Grade Point Average

Applicants are expected to attain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
 

English Proficiency

Applicants who are not native English speakers will need to fulfil the following language requirements and provide documentary evidence when submitting their applications:

TOEFL

Internet-based: minimum 80

IELTS

Minimum overall band of 6 in the academic version

Home Institution

A letter/ signed declaration from the home institution’s International Office certifying proficiency

 

Application (For students from the Mainland China, Taiwan and Macau, please refer to Chinese version)

Interested students can submit their online application. Please have the following documents ready while you are filling in the form:

  • A scanned copy of proof of English proficiency (if your native language is not English)
  • A scanned copy of official transcript
  • A scanned copy of EdUHK Nomination & Endorsement Form signed by the international office/study abroad office of your home institution
  • A scanned copy of completed visa application form and supporting documents
