Application & Eligibility
Nomination
Applicants must be nominated by the home institution to be eligible for a place in the programme. First-year students are normally NOT eligible.
Grade Point Average
Applicants are expected to attain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
English Proficiency
Applicants who are not native English speakers will need to fulfil the following language requirements and provide documentary evidence when submitting their applications:
| TOEFL | Internet-based: minimum 80 |
| IELTS | Minimum overall band of 6 in the academic version |
| Home Institution | A letter/ signed declaration from the home institution’s International Office certifying proficiency |
Application (For students from Mainland China, Taiwan and Macau, please refer to Chinese version)
Applicants are REQUIRED to complete the application online and submit the following documents to EdUHK via GEMS or mailing as appropriate before the deadline stipulated.
Documents Required – to be uploaded to GEMS:
- A scanned copy of official transcript
- A scanned copy of TOEFL/IELTS scoresheet or English Proficiency Endorsement Form

- Visa application
