I am the recipient of the UGC Teaching Award in 2018. I am a historian of Modern Hong Kong and China. My research focuses mainly on the cultural interactions between the East and the West in the historical context, including the area of religion, medicine, and gender. I am also a history educator who is committed to finding innovative and student-centered ways of teaching history, such as applications of blended learning and post-pandemic e-learning strategies in history education, as well as constructing historical imagination via 4RE history learning.
