I am currently a Research Assistant Professor focusing on critical educational linguistics. Specifically, I have published in multiple top-tier journals such as TESOL Journal, Linguistics and Education, and System, focusing on equitable language education, language policy, and qualitative research methods. Currently, I am developing multiple projects revolved around the following issues:
- Multilingual borderscapes
- Localizing Content Integrated Language Instruction in Trilingual Secondary Classrooms
- Teacher language ideologies and AI
As a potential supervisor, I aim to provide you with the necessary support through active mentorship to develop rigorous qualitative investigations, collaborate in presenting and publishing in international venues, and help you socialize in the academic environment. Through both supervision and mentorship, I train my students to be pioneers who address critical issues while positively impacting and giving back to their community.
