研究領域:
- Linguistics
My research interests primarily focus on the Yi languages, specifically, and Tibeto-Burman languages in general. As a supervisor, I am dedicated to guiding research on the grammatical description of Tibeto-Burman languages, with a particular focus on the Yi languages in Yunnan and Sichuan, based on firsthand fieldwork data, and using linguistic evidence to explore the peopling of the Yi ethnic groups. My research interests also encompass typological studies of Sino-Tibetan languages, and the intricate dynamics of bi/multilingualism and language contact in the Tibeto-Burman regions. If you share a passion for the above-mentioned research areas, I wholeheartedly invite you to apply for our PhD and MPhil programs.
