On the eerie evening of 31 October 2024, 110 students gathered for a spine-chilling Halloween celebration filled with games, costumes, and sweet surprises. The event, held by the Centre for Language in Education (CLE), brimmed with excitement as participants embraced the festive spirit and immersed themselves in spooky fun.
Students competed in games like Spooky Limbo Shuffle, Ghostly Dart Frenzy, and the challenging Witch’s Ring Toss, with Ghostly Dart Frenzy earning the title of the crowd’s favourite. Creative activities like the Creepy Block Build-Off and Halloween Artistry encouraged artistic expression, while the Costume Contest stole the spotlight with its parade of imaginative and eerie outfits.
Adding to the excitement, participants who successfully completed all the games were rewarded with a delightful trick-or-treat experience, leaving them with chocolate and even bigger smiles. Many shared how the sweet treats were a perfect way to cap off the night, spreading joy among all who participated.
The event’s spooky ambiance, enhanced by eerie sound effects and Halloween movie screenings, provided the perfect backdrop for this unforgettable celebration. CLE is grateful to everyone who joined it and helped make this Halloween an enchanting and fun-filled success, especially its dedicated staff.
