內地跨境及新來港學童的校本支援計劃

Hello everyone, my name is Sophia Cheung. I am currently a BEd Languages English major Year 3 student of HKIEd. Throughout these three years I have learnt teaching and learning strategies from the modules and I have been working in different schools as an English tutor.

Recently I join this school-based support programme because this will be a good experience for me to work in a school facing many students who are in need. I am working as a tutor in one of the primary school in Sha Tau Kok, therefore I understand both teachers and parents need to give support to those cross-border and new-arrived students. Through this programme I hope I can apply those English teaching strategies that I have learnt from the Institute and therefore to contribute to the school that I am going to support.
