內地跨境及新來港學童的校本支援計劃

As a student of the Hong Kong Institute of Education, I feel highly honored to be a student teacher of this project. During the six months I have been studying at the HKIEd, I have achieved excellent academic results and at the same time have engaged in a variety of extra-curricular activities. For example, I am a member of the Students’ Union of HKIEd and the Putonghua debating team, and have performed as an actress in the Disney musical drama as Aladdin Junior. I am also skilled at playing the piano, something I have been doing since I was five years old. Through these experiences, I believe I can use different strategies to motivate students to learn English as well as have a happy experience of learning. In addition, this project aims to help the cross-boarder students from the mainland. As I am a graduate from the mainland, I understand that we have a different background of learning English from the local Hong Kong students. In this sense, I hope I can help the cross-boarder students learn English more effectively and better adapt to the teaching and learning style in Hong Kong.
