Although
we celebrate ten years as a single institution, we have 65 years of teacher
education heritage stemming from our roots. On 30 October, we acknowledge this
heritage with a facility naming and tree planting ceremony. Designated facilities
will be named to commemorate the roots of the Institute in the heritage of the
five former Colleges of Education and to honour teacher education with the mission
of nurturing young minds. In addition, a tree planting ceremony to be officiated
by major alumni associations will also be held. Enquiry: 2948 8467.
The
Study Room at English Learning Centre will be named after Institute of Language
in Education.
Hostels
A, B, C will be named as Northcote, Grantham and Robert Black Halls respectively.
The
3D Design Studio will be named after Hong Kong Technical Teachers' College.
