Virtual School Visit: The Education University of Hong Kong Jockey Club Primary School
More than 30 local and non-local students of EdUHK as well as our partner universities around the world had a chance to learn more about primary education in Hong Kong at the “Virtual School Visit of The Education University of Hong Kong Jockey Club Primary School (JCPS)” on 6 May 2022, organized by Global Affairs Office with tremendous support offered by the School.
An affiliated school of EdUHK located on its Tai Po campus, JCPS strives to provide quality school education for well-rounded development to children in an environment of joy, love and care. In this online event, Ms Elsa Cheung (Vice Principal) and Ms Sandy Choy (English Panel Head) of JCPS gave an informative sharing about the School background, its close collaborations with EdUHK, and different teaching and learning opportunities available. The School’s EDB Native English Teacher, Mr Gavin Jugg, gave a guided virtual tour to the participants, in which he introduced the School’s facilities and different activities organized for their pupils. The visit was definitely an eye-opening experience for all, particularly those who aspire to become a teaching professional and interested in undertaking teaching practicum in Hong Kong through GAO’s International Teacher Training Programme.
