The 2nd International Knowledge Transfer Forum (hereafter KT Forum), held jointly from 7 to 21 August 2021 by the Department of English Language Education (ELE) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and the Association for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language in Indonesia (TELFIN), brought together researchers, educators, policymakers and graduate students from across Asia and beyond to engage in dialogue about language teaching and research. The primary goal of this three-week KT Forum was to promote knowledge transfer and facilitate international academic exchange. The goal was met when researchers, teachers, teacher-educators, policymakers, and students from all over Asia came together to learn about various theories and research findings, allowing these stakeholders to make informed decisions. The programme included six keynote speeches delivered by experts in the fields of e-learning, CLIL and EMI, as well as an interactive Q&A session. Overall, 3,295 people attended the KT Forum via Zoom and YouTube Live stream, including researchers, in-service and pre-service language teachers, teacher-educators, and graduate students from institutions in Hong Kong, Indonesia, mainland China and other Asian cities and countries.
