Master of Arts in Music Education [MAME]

MELBOURNE COLLABORATION

(Double Degree Option with MCM, Melbourne University, Australia)

To qualify for selection in this exchange, potential applicants must be current MA(ME) students or graduates, and:

Demonstrate a high musical performance standard (equivalent of Trinity College London LTCL level);

• Have completed at least 12 cps (4 courses) either within the first semester or during the first two semesters of their MA(ME) study; and
• Possess a good English standard (e.g., IELTS 6.5 or above); and.
• Passed a music proficiency audition.

Successful applicants will be given ‘Advanced Standing’ status by MCM to enroll in its MM(PerfTeach) programme exempted from first semester requirements. They will have to bear all financial and personal responsibilities pertaining to their studies in Australia; while their student status at EdUHK will be temporarily ‘suspended’. Upon their completion of the MM(PerfTeach) Degree in Melbourne, outstanding MAME credits (12cps) could be recognized (on application) for full EdUHK MAME graduation status through credit transfer.
