Leung Man Lo, Year 3 student from Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Studies and Digital Communication in 2022/23
It is my honour to study Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Studies and Digital Communication at the Faculty of Humanities of EdUHK, as the teachers here are full of love and care.
The Faculty of Humanities is dedicated to helping students to achieve academic goals and success via the “Academic Advising” system. Whenever I need support for my academic development, my academic advisor is always accessible to help. She is perfectly willing to listen to the challenges that her students are facing. She is also generous in advising me regarding my career path if I feel frustrated. One of the first steps I will take to get a better grade is to learn how to manage my time.
In addition, the Programme Leader is attentive to the academic progress of his students and the difficulties they encounter. It is always a pleasure to speak with him and discuss my study load and my ideas for my honours project. He also suggested that I pursue a minor that would benefit my future career development. Apart from that, the Programme Team also provided refreshments to academic advisors and students taking part in the Programme Assembly. As a member of the programme, I was very touched by the small gesture of the Programme Team because it demonstrates the Faculty’s commitment to creating a supportive and caring environment for both staff and students.
