BEd(CL) Student Zhou Yinzi Receives the President’s Commendation Award

Zhou Yinzi, a third-year student from the Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Chinese Language), is awarded the President’s Commendation award in 2022/23 for her outstanding performance in the area of “Innovation, Science and Technology”. This award is the highest level of recognition in the EdUHK President’s Scheme.
Zhou is not only a holder of the Chinese utility model patent, but also the youth representative of the Hunan Innovation and Entrepreneurship in 2022. She also won the second prize in the 9th "Creating Youth" Hunan Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in 2022.
The President’s Commendation Scheme Award is open to all full-time students enrolled at EdUHK. It recognises students’ performance in the areas of Arts and Culture, Community Service, Leadership, Sports, and Innovation, Science and Technology. Since 2010, over 130 students and groups have been awarded.

A New Space for Innovation: The Opening of the FHM Humanities Research Hub

MATCIL received IB Re-certification
Master of Arts in Teaching Chinese as an International Language (MATCIL) obtained the International Baccalaureate (IB) Educator Certificate (Diploma Programme [DP]) in January 2017 and was permitted to offer IB-recognised programme of study leading to the IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning (DP). Towards the end of 2022, the programme applied for a renewal with IB Organisation (IBO).
