Global Nordic Connections: FHM and University of Lapland Strengthen Ties for Academic Collaboration and Student Exchange

The Faculty of Humanities (FHM) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and the University of Lapland in Finland have signed MoUs on academic collaboration and student exchange to ramp up efforts in the relevant areas.

The MoU on academic collaboration, which will remain in force for three years, covers an array of areas, including joint research projects, academic and administrative collaborations, exchange of students and staff and publications, and organisation of joint conferences, seminars and academic meetings. Likewise, the MoU on student exchange will also be valid for three years, allowing up to five students to study for one semester per year at the host institution on a non-degree basis.

EdUHK and the University of Lapland have been partners in the ‘Global Media Education (GloMED)’ project since 2021, which aims to develop a joint study course within GloMED, through collaboration of experts.
