Under the coordination of the Global Affairs Office, Prof Wang Lixun, Associate Dean (International Engagement), and Dr Yan Jing, Assistant Professor from the Department of Chinese Language Studies, represented the Faculty at the 2025 Taiwan University Expo held in Kaohsiung and Taipei on 1 and 2 March respectively. The team actively promoted the Faculty's academic programmes and engaged with local high school students, undergraduates, and their parents. The exhibition booth attracted numerous visitors in both cities, who were very keen to explore the possibility of studying in Hong Kong. Some expressed special interest in FHM’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
At the Taipei Education Expo, three EdUHK exchange students currently studying in Taiwan, including one FHM student, also joined the team to promote EdUHK’s programmes. The team delivered a featured presentation about EdUHK's programmes on the centre stage.
The delegation emphasised EdUHK's commitment to recruiting high-caliber non-local students and highlighted the distinctive features of EdUHK’s academic programmes. The events received an enthusiastic response from visitors, with several Taiwanese students having filled in application forms on the spot, demonstrating strong interest in pursuing their education at EdUHK.
