The Uniqueness
> Links helps international school leaders design and pull together creative
student-centred strategies in order to improve school outcomes. it does
this through bringing together and working with the next generation of
school leaders.
> Links is not a traditional leader development programme. designed
specifically for international schools it is not based on any existing
programme which may or may not work across cultures. it is tailored
specifically for international schools.
> Links values fundamental skills, cutting-edge research and emerging
knowledge. it asks all participants to construct a ‘Leadership Platform’ to
inform and ground their leadership practice.
> Links helps school leaders create ‘the new’ and experiment with existing
structures and processes to chart future strategies and directions. This
aims to help leaders meet the constantly emerging needs confronting
students in international schools.
> Links calls on leaders to couple creativity and imagination with collective
experience, and analytical skills with established knowledge.
> Links sees the role of school leaders as central to designing new ways
to conceptualize, organize and structure schools (physically, emotionally
and socially) in order to nurture productive international citizens.
> Links promotes evidence based learning practices that engage school
leaders in creating new and improved approaches to their work. These are
based on real evidence collected in their own schools and the EsF
system.
