Welcome to Links
This booklet sets out the rationale upon which Links is built and outlines the
structure of the programme.
Links is designed around feedback from previous successful leader learning
programmes. it attempts to build on the strengths and address the
shortcomings of them. For example, a strength of successful programmes
is that they provide a structure within which leaders can work closely with
colleagues from their own and others’ schools. A common weakness of
many programmes is that they do not relate to real school life. The Links
programme aims to make learning relevant to both participants’ schools and
their professional careers.
Our aim is to provide a connected set of experiences which simultaneously
build individual and group leadership capability while also contributing
something meaningful to the school.
We look forward to working closely with you in fulfilling this aim.
