School Connections
Links engages teams of leaders from the same school. Learning activities
will be closely connected with the real work in schools. schools will select
participants and principals will work with them on identifying worthwhile inquiry
topics.
Some connection strategies
> Each participating school will appoint a liaison within the school to
work with participants in the school, thus maximizing the flow of learning
and ensuring the work being done benefits the school.
> school-based Alliances are expected to ‘take back’ their learning to their
schools at least twice during the programme. They will also offer to
share their work with at least one other school.
> Projects will be presented to principals and others depending on schools’
needs and wants.
> Agency Projects will be linked to school improvement agendas. They
should be negotiated with principals in order to tap the talent of the
Alliance and ensure REAL value to the schools.
