Roles of Head Sponsor

The Head Sponsors are expected to fulfill all the duties associated
with the Sponsor’s role, qualities and skills and to undertake the
following. Head Sponsors:
1. Undertake the selection and appointment of Sponsors.

2. Conduct sessions when necessary at the Cluster Connection,
Live-in-Learning, Innovative Showcase, Showcase Forum and
Stimulus Series.
3. Assist in the planning and design of the blue skies process.

4. Conduct and contribute to training programmes for Sponsors
and at Sponsor briefings.
5. Contribute to the organisation and running of blue skies.

6. Act as ambassadors among their professional colleagues.
7. Model and demonstrate high levels of professionalism in their
leadership of the Sponsor team.

8. Model and demonstrate exemplary professional practice to
advance standards of professionalism in the principalship.
9. Monitor the progress and effectiveness of selected Learning
Squares and offer support and mediation as necessary.
