1. Are experienced and / or emeritus
principals.

2. Have the necessary achievement and
relevant experience of leadership and
senior management to have credibility
as a Sponsor.
3. Have the necessary professional knowledge, understanding,
skills and attributes to become an effective Sponsor.

4. Are willing to become well informed about the requirements
of blue skies, and its place within the overall professional
learning of BPs.

5. Are well informed about current policies and developments in
education in Hong Kong and their impact on schools and
school leadership.
6. Are willing to read, understand and apply the principles of the
blue skies and the Key Qualities for the Principalship in Hong

7. Are willing to undertake training in the principles and skills of
blue skies and support the purpose and values of blue skies.
