Conclusion




                          In  this  Miniā€Module  we  have  examined  some  of  the  preparatory
                          activities which must take place before a report is written, and some of
                          the techniques for getting information across to the reader accurately.
                          We have suggested a structure for report writing which may create the
                          right sort of impact and which enables you to write a coherent story.
                          We have tried to ask questions which will challenge you to look at your
                          report writing critically.
                          Next time you write a report, when it is finished, see whether you have
                          converted the principles into practice by using the checklist shown in
                          Figure 11, The Finished Report: A Checklist, to test its quality.
