The ‘3Cs’ for an Edupreneur

                             Character

                             Character is defined as—

                                  Conscience
                                  Congruence
                                  Clean
                                  Clear

The Character dimension refers to the moral of a person. It is the invisible
qualities that could affect a person’s behaviour and how others judge a person.
Self-leadership (being the ‘CEO’ of one’s own life), is the key to determine
whether a person is happy or not. It does not mean becoming self-centred.
Instead, it guides someone to become a better person, and that person would
have an undeniable and direct impact on each interaction he/she engages in,

whether it’s personal or professional, or to colleagues, or students, or parents.

In the context of school management, it refers to the qualities or characteristics
that a teacher has, which leads to certain behaviours in developing a new
                             curriculum (Arnon et al., 2007).

                             Care
                             Care is defined as—

                                  Ability to be collaborative
                                  Concern for the common good
                                  Compassion
Connection with customers, peers and the company

Care means doing things with the right heart. It refers to the concern for the

common good and the ability to be collaborative. A person who treats others
right, often finds their collaborators, including students and peers, give their
                             100% or more in return.

A service leader needs to be other-centric as opposed to egocentric – it does
not mean a service leader should be absolutely selfless, since a moderate
amount of selfishness goes a long way. In the service age, the needs of those

being serviced should be attended to by a caring server.
