Teacher Entrepreneurialism
The Teacher Entrepreneurialism Theory is a model developed by Maxwell Ho (2020).
It describes six core entrepreneurial behaviours and qualities that are essential to general leaders,
and what further qualities teachers, as edupreneurs, particularly need in those areas—

Coordination
Management
Show capability of leadership in school-based curriculum development
Demonstrate reasonable management skills & monitoring systems in school policy and
curriculum development
Leadership
Have clear long-term goals for school policy and curriculum development
Apply the self-evaluation & consensus-seeking methods to make active contributions
to school policy and school-based curriculum development
Strategic resources
Management
Lead colleagues to receive support from professions in school
Leadership
Lead colleagues to receive support from professions outside school
Seek sources of financial resources in support of school policy and pedagogy implementation
Encourage the interdisciplinary interaction in and outside of school to promote good
teaching practices
Innovation
Management
Integrate new effective pedagogy into school-based curriculum
Leadership
Keep on modifying school-based curriculum to suit student diversity
Expand new pedagogy to other subject's curriculum
