Both Maxwell's Teacher Entrepreneurialism Theory and Po Chung’s 3Cs qualities point to essential
qualities that a teacher needs to acquire to become an edupreneur. Po Chung's 3Cs provides
the necessary elements to contribute to potentially great service leaders. In contrast, Maxwell's
theory provides an in-depth explanation on the key behaviours and qualities of entrepreneurs,
as well as further characteristics that edupreneurs need.
Competence implies doing things right. It refers to one's strategic planning and communication
skills. It corresponds to coordination, strategic resources and innovation in Maxwell's theory.
Character implies the moral of a person, which impacts one's behaviour, which echoes to
proactiveness, humility-confidence and responsibility in Maxwell's theory. With Competence, moral
Character, and Caring, a teacher is capable of becoming an edupreneur.
