"WeCycle III/Changing the Cycle - Bicycle Tour Guides and Volunteer Training Program Graduation Ceremony and Storybook Sharing" has successfully completed. We would like to express our gratitude to all the course instructors and partners for taking the time to attend and support the bicycle tour guides and volunteers.
In collaboration with the Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service and I-WELL, and sponsored by the Narcotics Division Fund, the project named "WECYCLE III/Changing the Cycle - Bicycle Tour Guides and Volunteer Training Program" is nearing its completion. To acknowledge the efforts of the team members and thank the community for their long-term support of this program, the Lutheran Youth Centre held the "WECYCLE III/Changing the Cycle - Bicycle Tour Guides and Volunteer Training Program Graduation Ceremony and Storybook Sharing" on August 21, 2021 (Saturday) afternoon, aiming to encourage individuals in drug rehabilitation to reintegrate into society.
Distinguished guests of honor included (in no particular order):
Mr. Chau Chun-hang, Acting Chief Assistant Secretary (Narcotics) of the Security Bureau Narcotics Division
Ms. Yuen Lai Shan, Director of the Lutheran Youth Centre of the Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service
Professor Leung Chi Hung, Co. Director of I-WELL
During the ceremony, the guests of honor first presented certificates of appreciation to the collaborating instructors, organizations, and groups to show gratitude. Subsequently, the "graduates" who have completed the WeCycle training program, individuals in drug rehabilitation, received their graduation certificates from the guests of honor, officially becoming members of the WeCycle team.
