African proverb "It takes a village to raise a child", i.e., the idea of utilizing the strength of a village to raise a child. However, in Hong Kong, where the relationship between neighbors is getting weaker and weaker, how easy is it to ask parents to help each other and complement each other in parenting?

About 200 families joined “100 Parents 2018 Family Day”, held at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) on 7 October 2018 to learn how to help their children face challenges through positive parent-child relationships.

據2017年至2018年度統計署及教育局統計，現在全港大概有四萬五千多個SEN（特殊教育需要）的學童，包括自閉症、讀寫障礙、過度活躍症、身體殘障等，在主流學校裏讀書，分別佔7.6%（小學）及7.8%（中學），是十年前的1.6倍。

Children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) often have difficulty expressing themselves when they encounter problems, leaving their parents and teachers at a loss. A university study found that students with attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity disorder have higher attention spans when exposed to multiple stimuli, suggesting that they should learn in a different way.
