




Organized by Integrated Centre for Wellbeing (I-WELL) and Department of Special Education and Counselling (SEC) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), in collaboration with SDU University, Kazakhstan and Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI), Malaysia. The Conference will be held on 20 May 2025 (Tuesday) at The Education University of Hong Kong. The event will provide a platform for researchers to share their latest findings.
We aim to strengthen the exchange and collaboration between Hong Kong, Central Asia and Southeast Asia to explore the integration of artificial intelligence and educational technology in special education.
The conference will be divided into morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session will feature 3 keynote presentations by speakers from Hong Kong, Malaysia and Kazakhstan education practitioners. Parallel sessions will be held in the afternoon, focusing on topics such as AI, Special Education and Inclusive Education Policies.
The conference also features an exhibition area, where special educators, NGOs and EdTech companies from Hong Kong, Mainland China and Malaysia are invited to showcase the latest research findings and innovations in the field of special education and inclusive education, encouraging the exchange of ideas and exploring collaboration opportunities among educators and practitioners from different industries.

The organizer will provide free shuttle bus services on the day of the event. There are two routes: one from the University MTR Station to The Education University of Hong Kong, and another from Kowloon Tong MTR Station to The Education University of Hong Kong. Taxi: Taking a taxi from Tai Po Market MTR Station or Tai Wo MTR Station to The Education University of Hong Kong costs approximately HK$60.
The conference does not provide parking spaces. It is recommended that attendees take the free shuttle bus or public transportation to the venue.
