I specialise in discourse analysis and corpus analysis of audience engagement in English and Chinese for academic and professional purposes. Currently, I am working on several projects related to audience engagement in various genres, including museum labels and audio descriptions (emphasising accessibility to the public and inclusion of diverse social groups), MOOC video lectures, academic tweets, and corporate websites. My research also entails developing language training materials based on findings to help professionals enhance their communication skills with their audiences.
