I have extensive tertiary teaching experience. I have taught in associate degree, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the areas of English grammar, the English language system, English language teaching pedagogy, academic writing, and English for specific purposes.
I am currently Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies) of the Faculty of Humanities. My earlier roles at EdUHK include Head and Associate Head of the Department of Linguistics and Modern Language Studies. My research focuses primarily on language and gender, English language education, textbook studies, teacher education and corpus-based grammar teaching.
