EdUHK Faculty of Humanities Actively Promotes Academic Programmes and Advances Exchange at China Education Expo

Led by Prof Wang Lixun, Associate Dean (International Engagement) of the Faculty of Humanities (FHM) and the Global Affairs Office of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), FHM participated in the China Education Expo in Guangzhou on 26 October 2024 and in Beijing from 1 to 2 November 2024. The team actively promoted the Faculty's academic programmes and engaged with mainland high school students, undergraduates, postgraduates and their parents. The exhibition booth attracted numerous visitors who showed strong interest in the Faculty's undergraduate programmes. Team members provided detailed information about programme features and application procedures while sharing insights into campus life at EdUHK.

The team also hosted an information session on the University's undergraduate, master's and doctoral programmes at the Sunworld Dynasty Hotel Beijing on 3 November. Mr. Chau Lap, Senior Lecturer from the Department of Chinese Language Studies, presented comprehensive information about the undergraduate and master's programmes, covering academic resources, curriculum structure, and career prospects. Following the presentation, the team engaged in in-depth discussions with attendees, addressing questions about academic planning and learning experiences.

The events garnered enthusiastic responses, with attendees unanimously praising the comprehensive and practical nature of the information sessions, particularly regarding academic pathways and programme selection. They commended the organisation, engagement quality, and thoroughness of the events, expressing keen interest in future opportunities.
