The Second “Thirty-Cent Novels” Academic Conference will be held on August 11, 2023 (Friday) by Research Centre for Chinese Literature and Literary Culture. We intend to foster connectivity: connecting the present with the past, connecting Hong Kong with East Asia and the West, and connecting research perspectives and methodologies. Through exploring connectivity, we hope to expand the scope of research on the “Thirty-Cent Novels” and discover its uncharted values.
We have invited Prof David EARLE and Dr Kwok-kwan Kenny NG to deliver keynote speeches at the Conference. Scholars specializing in popular literature will also present their latest research.
We eagerly await your participation in this Conference!
