Empowering Creativity: Master Chinese Language and Culture through Digital Innovation

The BA(DCCC) programme offers a wide range of courses to emphasise the intersections of Chinese language and culture with media, creative arts and digital literacy, enabling students to develop an integrated knowledge and sophisticated professional profile to contribute to culture and arts and commercial and economic sectors (i.e. creative industries, tourism and retail industry, intellectual property services). Students will gain hands-on experience with digital tools for language applications, which will empower them to develop creative digital contents for language learning and teaching, produce and publish innovative and engaging contents in digital media, and apply digital tools in the field of Chinese communication.

Be More Than Good at English
The BA(ESDC) programme aims to cultivate a new generation of English studies students with strong digital literacy skills through a digitally enriched curriculum. The programme provides a wide range of courses to build a solid foundation in English language, linguistics and digital literacy, consolidated by hands-on experience in using digital tools for language applications. Students will be empowered to develop digital contents for the learning and teaching of languages, to publish in digital media and to support and critically evaluate digital communication solutions. A combination of English studies and digital communication technology will allow students to further contribute to the transformation of education, media, and publishing in the digital age.

Digital-focused Programme in Music and Visual Arts, Extending into Art Tech and Multimedia Sectors

This programme features an innovative creative digital emphasis for music and the visual arts within subject-focused and major-elective courses. It extends the depth and reach of our existing provision within the new targeted art tech, entertainment and multi-media sectors, while also retaining the Internship as one of the unique and highly popular components.  The programme will equip students with the theoretical, practical and contextual knowledge and skills that are applicable within the cultural and creative industries, the cultural and educational sectors, and in the broader commercial sectors of the region. It will also equip students with knowledge in arts administration and management, providing them with opportunities to gain hands-on experience through internships.
