The Fifth East-Asian Graduate Forum on Teaching Chinese as an International Language

Faculty of Humanities, HKIEd organised “The Fifth East-Asian Graduate Forum on Teaching Chinese as an International Language” on 8 May 2015. Around 150 participants from East-Asian region joined this Forum. Besides participants from mainland China, there are also participants from Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Egypt, Korea, Australia, Malaysia and Switzerland. The enthusiastic discussion amongst scholars and graduate students made the Forum a great success. An evening harbor cruise with seafood dinner brings the event to the highlight. Climb aboard a harbour cruise could see the city from its symbolic centre and tour the Victoria Harbour that has connected Hong Kong to the world. Our Faculty will organize such activities continually to widen our students’ horizon.
