The Department of Special Education and Counselling at The Education University of Hong Kong assigns students to practicums at various non-profit organisations such as elderly centres, special schools and hospitals, etc. Under the supervision of speech therapists, students conduct screening, assessment therapy and consultation for cases with speech, language and/or swallowing disorders.
