Industrial Internship is one of the major elective courses of the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Psychology programme, preparing students for dynamic, real-life employment situations, cultivating their professionalism, aptitude and attitude, problem-solving, interpersonal and collaborative skills. Students will work alongside professionals in various settings and will be immersed in the daily operations of the agencies. The internship is in line with the programme objective of producing graduates who can competently integrate the science and application of psychology and can implement evidence-based application.
Objectives of the Internship:
- Provide students with experiential learning opportunities
- Apply knowledge and skills to real-life working environment
- Gain working experience before graduation
- Create opportunities to improve labor market relevance and exposure
- Ensure the relevance of undergraduate psychology curriculum to the community needs
