The Charter process uses the EsF Leadership Capability Framework (2012) to
help participants define their leadership capabilities.
As President Obama once explained to a group of students, “i want to start with
the responsibility you have to yourself. Every single one of you has something
you’re good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And you have
a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is. That’s the opportunity an
education can provide.” (september, 2009, emphasis added). it’s the same for
teachers. it’s the same for school leaders.
The best schools are those that have teams
of capable teachers who are well led.
The identification, analysis and understanding of your leadership capabilities is a
key part of a Personal Leadership Charter.
