Po Chung and Simon Ip’s Entrepreneurship Model helps to analyse the strengths and
weaknesses of a school. At the same time, Porter’s Five Forces Model can be applied to analyse
the opportunities and threats of a school. By combining both tools, you now have a clear
picture of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) of a school. It provides
direction to review the school’s potential and refine the major concern of the school, which can
overcome the weaknesses and threats.
