Conference

The theme of the conference is "Nurturing Positive Values and Attitudes through PE". It is intended to cater for the target participants of 700 PE teachers. The conference aims at providing PE teachers with key conceptual framework of positive values and attitudes and how these learning-to-learn skills can be nurtured in PE. The following objectives are formulated for reference:

a)
To share with local and foreign scholars concerning concepts, development, issues, experiences and practices of nurturing positive values and attitudes with reference to PE teaching and learning in Hong Kong;
b)
To make cross reference with foreign experience and advanced knowledge concerning nurturing students’ positive values and attitudes; and
c)
To build up PE teachers’ competence and confidence in making use of the advanced knowledge and experience for improving practices of teaching concerning how positive values and attitudes can be nurtured through PE.
