Welcome
The Summer School for PE Teachers is an annual professional development programme initiated by the Education Bureau. It aims to share with PE teachers innovative and relevant curricular practices, pedagogy and assessment. Following the successful organization programme in 2006 (with the theme Assessment Literacy: Theories and Practices), 2007 (Catering Learner Diversity), 2008 (Nurturing Creativity and Critical Thinking Skills through Physical Education), and 2009 (Social cultural aspects of physical education), the Department of Health and Physical Education, the Hong Kong Institute of Education is going to organize the Summer School for PE Teachers 2010 with the theme, "Nurturing Physically Educated Citizens, a Key to Whole Person Development". Respective programmes include:

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I cordially invite PE colleagues to attend the conference, present papers in the sharing sessions and enroll in workshops.
