About the speaker

 

Professor Eric Yu is the Head of the Department of Literature and Cultural Studies. His teaching and research interests include comparative literature, travel literature, and film studies. His most recent research project, funded by the Research Grant Council, deals with everyday modernity in Hong Kong poetry of the 1970s.
