I am an Environmental Humanities researcher, writer, editor, and poet. My research is situated in the interdisciplinary field of the Environmental Humanities with a particular focus on cultural studies, urban imaginaries, environmental narratives, and feminist science studies. Across my research and creative works, I am interested in multidisciplinary, collaborative, and sustainable story-making towards the opening of other kinds of possible futures. I am interested in supervising research students in any of the listed research areas.
Selected Publications:
My current thinking and writing examine sustainable urban-making, technological imaginaries, and multi-modal environmental narratives in the context of intense urbanization, climate change, and environmental injustice. I am the author of Reimagining the More-Than-Human City: Stories from Singapore (MIT Press, Oct 2024). I am an editor of the international, peer-reviewed journal Feminist Review. I have co-edited with the members of the Feminist Review Collective since 2021 including the special issue series “Feminist Futures” (issue 135 and issue 136).
