大家在閱讀書刊時,有否想過為何作者會用"he"或 「他們」泛指全部人,或是未有指明性別的人物呢?這是一種顯現性別不平等的用語。過往很多作者書寫時,會以男性為中心,忽略女性。傳統重男輕女和男尊女卑的概念,透過日常閱讀的書刊植入兒童的腦海,性別不平等的觀念就這樣延續下去。

2021/22 Territory-wide Junior Secondary Quiz Competition on Chinese History and Culture Finals and Award Ceremony

Organized by the Education Bureau (EDB) and co-organized by the Department of Literature and Cultural Studies, the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), the Finals and Award Ceremony of the 2021/22 Territory-wide Junior Secondary Quiz Competition on Chinese History and Culture is held today (11 June 2022). The competition aims to promote and raise the enthusiasm of junior secondary school students in Hong Kong in learning Chinese history and culture. By competing against each other, students can learn and encourage one another. Through the competition, students can build a strong moral character, broaden their horizons, and continue to pass on the Chinese culture.
